There are several interesting places in Ho Chi Minh City, but the Saigon Zoo is considered one by the best. To enjoy their holidays, many city people and tourists from other places prefer going there.
This amusement place was established in the city centre about 100 years ago. People, especially children, got to the zoo to see wild animals such as tigers, elephants, crocodiles, bears and snakes. They are also find a botanical garden there with various kinds of trees and flowers, some of which are rare and very valuable. Elderly people usually come to the zoo mostly to enjoy its fresh air and beautiful landscape. It is also an ideal place for young people to have their picnics.
On holidays and weekends, the zoo is very crowded with people. It is a good place for people of all ages.
