I am living in Ho Chi Minh City, the largest city in Viet Nam. It lies on the Saigon River and has the population of over 7 million.
In the downtown areas, there are many tall office buildings, hotels, theatres and department stores. The streets are wide and crowded with people and vehicles. However in the suburbs, the houses are rather poor and small, and the roads are in the bad condition.
There are several interesting places in my city such as the Zoo, the Ben Thanh Market, the Thong Nhat Palace, the Vinh Nghiem Pagoda and the Cu Chi Tunnels. They attract millions of tourists every year.
I love this city because it is the place where I was born and grown up. I have been given good impressions by the city people, who are always open-minded, kind and animated.
