Last Sunday evening, I went to my girlfriend’s to attend her twentieth birthday party.
When I arrived there, all the guests were gathering in the large living room of her house. In the middle of the room, there was a large table with a big birthday cake and many beautiful flowers on it. At exactly 8 p.m. the hostess announced the reason for the party. Then she blew out the 20 small candles put around the cake. She cut the cake into slices, went around the room and gave a piece of cake to each person. Like the others, I offered her a nice gift together with best wishes. After that, we talked, played and sang cheerfully until 11 p.m. At that time her mother came into the room, expressed her sincere thanks to everybody before they left.
It was such a pleasant birthday party! I had a good time there.
